To our students and their families:

We founded EduMate NYC in March to support those young New Yorkers most impacted by the transition to remote learning. While we hoped the program would be successful, we did not expect over 3,000 students and tutors to join our community. More importantly, the feedback we’ve received has been fantastic. Given students’ continuing needs, EduMate NYC will be continuing for the fall semester, beginning the week of September 14th. Students and families interested in receiving fall tutoring can sign up here to be notified when this program begins.

With the fall semester fast approaching, we want to share with you our intent to expand EduMate NYC, and help even more young New Yorkers learn, grow, and thrive. As families prepare for a fall semester unlike those in the past, we remain committed to connecting students with tutoring that is available online and completely free. Stay tuned for more detailed information in the days and weeks ahead. We thank you for being part of our community, and we hope we’ll have the chance to continue working with you this fall.

Information for current students

Those currently working with a tutor––and those who signed up for tutoring before July 31st–– can continue tutoring through August 14th. If both the tutor and student want to continue after that date, they may do so. We will send out more detailed information shortly regarding how we plan to support these arrangements.
